[Rift}[OOC: Storylines]
....I've been poking this for hours. I'll just edit the bloody thing later if I think of the rest of it.

Not the Momma! (and not the Daddy, Either)
Nagi wants out of that Foster home. It's loving and caring and all sorts of freaky hippy shit that Nagi isn't down with. He's hoping to find an adult who is willing to claim to be his relative. Nagi can even hack all the right places to get the paperwork taken care of. (One opening)

The Big Bother
^Not a typo. Nagi needs someone older than him to fill a big brother-ish role and do things like tease him. Nagi might develop a crush on said person, but it needs to be someone tough enough to deal with him. Nagi will probably learn something about social skills from this person or people. This person will probably also have to deal with Nagi's confusion over why people get upset over things he says when he's "just being honest." (At least one opening)

The Mentor
While Nagi won't admit it, his old team leader was something of a father figure to him, in addition to being his boss. He needs someone to fill this role now, and that person should probably be attached to the O, or at least be completely okay with the fact that Nagi used to be a terrorist/assassin/bodyguard/hacker in his own world and plans on picking back up in some of those fields now. (one opening)

Ricky can be kind of an ass, and honestly, will need some sort of person to take out his frustration once in a while on, considering Jake's no longer a viable option. I could see him filling a big-brother type role, though considering Ricky used to be a terrorist himself, I wouldn't necessarily say that he'd be the best person to learn from.

It could work. I completely don't know your canon at all, so we'll have to see how the boys interact. Being a terrorist isn't a plus or a minus, really. Nagi just needs to be influenced by people who have some sort of social skills. We'll have to have them meet up and see how they react to eachother.

My canon is a canon within a canon. A very short one, too.

Basically, Ricky was the head of an resistance organization in a parallel universe dedicated to stopping a company from doing the awful, awful things they were doing. Company ended up making cybermen, one of the repeating villain types in Doctor Who.

What I more mean, though, is that while Ricky does have social skills, he's not necessarily the best role model in some instances. He has severe issues with authority, although, those might tone down due to being out of his political element. More likely, it'll just be transferred elsewhere.

Meeting them up would be nice.

(Ignore the Babel journal.)

If Nagi wants assassin-job, Arlin could use him. (Mind, the assassins en't doing much now, but we have vague plans for an assassinplot later on, so yes.) However, Arlin's not good with people (though he keeps fucking surprising me by liking people I think he's going to hate) and wouldn't take lightly to being tossed around or whatever by Nagi, so uh. We might have to work on that lest Nagi end up on the receiving end of a hit, which will...not end well for anyone, if enough of the assassins get involved.

But point was that Arlin's not going to criticize Nagi's former terrorism/assassination career, seeing as Arlin's been one for a little over a thousand years at this point. He might also not be a great father figure, but I suspect Nagi doesn't want the traditional one anyway.

Despite Nagi's desire to rid the world of all the DUMB, he generally doesn't use his telekinesis on people without either an invitation or provocation. He's also generally very careful to hide his power from normals, so if they run into each other in a public space, that would further reduce the odds of Nagi doing something like that.

And I was somewhat considering talking to you about Nagi meeting up with Arlin, so this is perfect!

Once I get Mio in-game (and I can switch up the app order if you really need me to), she would probably be willing to pose as his aunt or something. (I suspect she would find it rather amusing, actually.) She would also attempt to teach him social skills, most likely.

Of course that all depends on me getting Mio in game, but if I recall correctly you were saying the need for a parent-thing was not super urgent? At any rate, I can definitely get Mio in before the creepily happy foster family goes on vacation without the internet in the summertime.

..I just realized that Nagi might need to go on vacation during con season. Bah, I don't know. If the CLF does firebomb his house, the situation might take care of itself in a way I'm satisfied with. It'll all depend on timing. I can always throw him into a second foster home if I need to.

Just let me know if I need to switch up the app order or anything.
